Baby Number 2
Really cool ultrasound last Friday. They did a 3d one, which looks really cool. They say next time we do an ultrasound it will be even cooler.

David's Walking Skills
Here is a video I took to show off David's walking skills. He's really steady on his feet now. He can reach down and pick things up without losing his balance, and he runs around everywhere!

David's Birthday Continues....
David's First Birthday
Last night we had a double birthday celebration for Chris and David including shark cupcakes and an Italian feast! I was pretty impressed with my first cupcake decorating attempt if I do say so myself!
David was pretty fussy since he decided to skip his afternoon nap, but that all changed as soon as we handed him his very first cupcake ever--after sampling the frosting, he proceeded to shove the whole thing in his mouth in true David style!

First Steps
Okay so these aren't exactly his first steps, just the first steps caught on camera, but you get the idea....
David's First Haircut
We finally bit the bullet and took David in for a haircut--the Shirly Temple ringlets just had to go. But don't freak out! The curls are still here--just in a more manageable, less ratty, but masculine form!

Cleaning Up?
David thought he would help us out by cleaning up his dishes. Now that he can get into all the cabinets, we really have to keep an eye on him constantly.
The Layover
We just took a trip to MI to visit some family. It was David's first time on an airplane and he was fantastic. Of course Chris might not have the same opinion since he couldn't move or sleep as he was the one David fell asleep on. David also met a strange woman at the airport--apparently a hilarious strange woman...

Changing Fast
David has had a big couple of weeks! During our ridiculous 3,000 mile adventure to Texas, Oklahoma and back, David managed to learn how to crawl, pull himself up to a standing position on pretty much any upright object he can find, and walk around said object. This was very impressive considering he spent the better part of a week strapped into his carseat. David has also officially reached the 50th percentile for his weight/age and now after all the work we put into porking him up, his pediatrician told me that David was getting too fat! Maybe it's all the extra treats Chris has been giving him....
